Police have charged 24-year-old Derrick Carter of Utica with second-degree murder.
Police arrested him after a four-month investigation.
Digristine was found at his home at 115 Lawrence St. with multiple gunshot wounds on March 26.
Carter was arraigned in Oneida County Court.
He is being held in the Oneida County jail.
