Academias Celestia and Everia

The most prestigious magical schools in all of Aslund are now accepting students for study in the new academic year. Located on the edges of Lake Lustre, a few hours' drive east of Wing City, both Celestia and Everia are at the pinnacle of magical studies with faculty members consistently driving forwards research in a wide variety of fields.

Academia Celestia accepts students for almost any field of magical study: from simple elemental magic to complex fields such as divination, demonology and more. Celestia offers education across a wide range of ages, from elementary level all the way to university-level degree courses. Whilst our application process is selective, and only the most promising students are guaranteed entry, no applicant should ever feel unable to apply based on financial considerations - grants, scholarships and bursaries are available to applicants from poorer backgrounds, as well as discounted accommodation and a financial advice service to help ensure you are able to continue study.

Graduates of Celestia go on into many fields, from joining our staff to pursue research, to a wide variety of specialised magical careers across Terra and beyond. Our alumni are amongst the most valued mages in organisations such as the WCPD, the TNG, the Patronus and many more.

Our staff are headed by the prestigious Scarlet Dae, a master geomancer and celestial mage well known amongst the magical community for her progressive attitudes towards traditionally shunned arts such as necromancy and demonology as not being inherently immoral, as well as for her past heroism as a member of the Patronus.

Academia Everia is a military academy focused on the art of magic in battle. Aimed solely at refining the skills of competent young mages for usage in real combat, the battlemages of Everia are some of the most skilled and powerful on Terra. Everia teaches not only the application of magic in a fight, but also tactics, the usage of weapons and discipline. The academy maintains a standing force to support the Patronus and TNG in their endeavours, on the consideration of the headmistress, Silviana Melaidhrin.

OOC Note: There isn't a running plotline based around the Academies at the moment - they are largely a resource for character backgrounds and interaction. You're free to (within reason) RP characters at/from the Academies without consulting with myself or Script (for Celestia and Everia respectively), but please do contact us if you want to do anything 'big' or you have questions/are unsure whether something would be okay.
