An Israeli advertisement circulating online this week has ruffled the feathers of online commentators in Egypt who claim that the ad ?insults? President Mohammed Mursi.
The advert named ?The Children are Ready? is produced by the Israel-based Temple Institute ? a non-profit educational and religious organization which promotes the rebuilding of the Temple of Solomon ? and begins by showing an Israeli family on the beach.
The family is playfully running on the beach; the children build an elaborate sand castle, or temple, while a man, presumed to be their father, sits to read a newspaper.
But after they build the temple and to look at it, the father throws the newspaper. It falls at his feet, clearly showing an image of Mursi on the page.
Social media users ?allege that the symbolic message [within the advert] is that the Egyptian president will not prevent Israel from building temples,? Egypt Independent reported on Tuesday.
A caption beneath the video, posted by the organization on video sharing site YouTube states: ?Two children change the world while their father reads the newspaper.?
The video was re-posted by Arab users with the title (in Arabic): ?An Israeli advert insults President Mursi.?
Israel has been anxious since President Mursi, a former senior Muslim Brotherhood official, assumed office following the mass Egyptian uprising which overthrew Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Israel is fearful of the political changes Mursi?s presidency could bring to Israel?s relationship with Egypt, including the future of the Camp David Accords.
However the president has said he would respect the treaty.
?It is no secret that Israel is not happy with the rise of the Muslim Brothers in the parliamentary and presidential elections,? Dr. Omar Ashour, Director of Middle East Studies at the University of Exeter and visiting fellow at the Brookings think tank in Doha told Al Arabiya.
?Mubarak was a ?strategic treasure? for Israel, and now the Israeli government have to deal with a group that volunteered to fight against Israel as early as 1948.?
?The ad expresses the frustrations with this reality. Many Israeli officials believe that Egypt?s revolution was a direct loss for Israel,? Ashour added. When contacted by Al Arabiya on Tuesday, a spokesperson from the Temple Institute was unable to be reached for comment.
Meanwhile, a statement on the group?s website says: ?The Temple Institute is dedicated to every aspect of the Holy Temple of Jerusalem, and the central role it fulfilled, and will once again fulfill, in the spiritual wellbeing of both Israel and all the nations of the world.?
The Temple of Solomon was built in the 6th century BC. It was expanded by King Herod before its destruction in 70 AD. According to regional media reports, rebuilding the temple would likely undermine the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in Jerusalem, which is located near where the temple once stood.

We love games but had got out of the habit of playing them at home.? Then we had our garage sale and sold almost all our games!
Heidi loves games and they have a huge collection of cool games we had never seen!
We played Ratuki, a realy cool card game that anyone can master in just a couple of minutes.? It?s a bit like speed.? We are going to buy our own copy of this as soon as we come across it!!
The kids played Uno Moo ? A cool game for smaller kids ? definitely recommend this one too!? It has little animals that go inside a barn every time you match the colour or animal.
Zoolaretto was another new one.? Everyone has?zoo animals that they need to load into trucks.? It uses cards, coins etc to fill up the trucks and move the animals into your zoo.? It seemed really fun (I was writing a post instead of playing ? bad?Tracey!)? And again was really easy to learn.
The last one was Settlers of Catan.? As I?m writing this Gert is saying ?we have to get that one!?? The cool thing about this game is the board changes each time you play it.? So no two games are ever the same.
Justin said everyone would be thinking about this long after they went to bed and he was right!? This one got a run 2 nights in a row ? poor Justin and Heidi could not get an early night while we were with them!!
It was so nice to see the kids playing games again.? We all play lots of games on our iPads but it?s not the same as good old fashioned board games!? As long as someone else sets them up, I?m happy to play!
When we visited FAO Schwartz in New York right after Boston we spotted the Settlers of Catan but managed to get out of the store without buying it.? We seriously don?t have any room or weight left to carry a board game!
Actually we just found Settlers of Catan on iPad?.hmmmm?think that?s $5 well spent!!

LONDON (Reuters) ? Online gaming company 32Red PLC (TTRL.L) said its revenues this year would beat market forecasts after they rose 50 percent in the first six months.
The Gibraltar-based company, which operates a range of casino-style games online, also said it planned to enter the Italian market during the second half of the year. Most of its current players are based in Britain.
Revenues increased to 16.5 million pounds ($25.8 million) in the six months to end-June, from 11 million a year ago, and were up by 28 percent in the first 20 days of July.
?The strong H1 trading performance and current trading is likely to see the company deliver revenues that are ahead of current market expectations for 2012,? CEO Ed Ware said in a statement on Monday.

TOKYO: Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit here to woo investors, today condemned violence at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant, stating such incidents should not happen anywhere in the world. Amid speculation that he would be pitching for more investment from Suzuki Motor Corp, parent of the Indian carmaker, Modi said, "Anywhere it should not happen. Human safety is the priority and I do feel (for) those who have lost their lives."
A senior company executive was burnt alive and 100 others were injured, following which the company has declared a lockout at the plant.
Speaking to reporters, he said, "It should not happen anywhere in the world, not only in India, or in Haryana or in Gujarat, it is not an issue where it has happened."
However, he expressed confidence that the Haryana government can deal with the situation. "I am sure that the Haryana government is capable enough to handle the issue and they will handle it," he said.
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), an arm of Suzuki Motor Corp, employs about 3,000 workers at its Manesar plant which produces some of the company's best selling models, such as Swift, Dzire, SX4 and A-Star.
The company had earlier this year announced investment of Rs 4,000 crore to set up a new manufacturing facility in Gujarat in addition to its existing facilities at Manesar and Gurgaon in Haryana. There had been widespread speculation that Maruti might shift out of Haryana due to recurring violence but this was dismissed "as fiction" by company chairman RC Bhargava in New Delhi last week.
MSI has been insisting that the investment in Gujarat was just an expansion and not shifting from Haryana.
